Meet Our Team

Elias Yamine

Elias is a commercial litigation lawyer with over 15 years’ experience.  Elias has been accredited by the Law Society of NSW as an Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation Law.

Elias is passionate about working with businesses to resolve disputes in an efficient and cost effective manner, ensuring that any impact on the day to day running of the business is minimised.  He acts for small to medium businesses operating in varied industries and assists them to resolve disputes with contractors, suppliers, lenders and other organizations they deal with on a day to day basis.  Elias has acted in commercial disputes in all jurisdictions including the Local Court, District Court, Supreme Court, Administrative Appeals Tribunal, and Federal Court.

Elias has a Masters of Law in Commercial Litigation and has also completed a Commerce degree majoring in Accounting.

Elias is actively involved in the work of the Law Society of NSW.   Elias is currently the Deputy Chair of the Law Society’s Litigation Law & Practice Committee.

Sandra Yamine

Sandra is a commercial and real estate lawyer with over 15 years’ experience in advising property owners and developers in the areas of retail, commercial, industrial and residential.

Her experience includes leasing (major and speciality leasing), licensing (including telecommunications), sales and acquisitions including ancillary due diligence, redevelopments, project documentation and general property advisory relating to property development, management and ownership.  Sandra’s extensive commercial and real estate experience allows her to apply a unique perspective whilst assisting clients to resolve commercial disputes. Her sound commercial acumen and drafting skills are invaluable to ensuring minimal risk exposure for clients. She offers realistic and practical advice for resolving commercial disputes expeditiously and effectively.

Prior to joining ESY Lawyers, Sandra worked as a corporate and real estate in-house lawyer for a diversified national property ASX listed developer and owner. More recently Sandra was the sole Senior in-house commercial and real estate lawyer for a major charitable not-for-profit with an extensive property portfolio. Whilst in-house, Sandra also advised on general compliance relating to intellectual property, marketing (including reviewing and drafting promotional terms and conditions) and commercial agreements.

Sandra has a double degree in Applied Finance and Law. She is a Chartered Governance Professional and Chartered Secretary, having completed a Diploma in Corporate Governance.

Sandra is also an Adjunct Lecturer for the College of Law for the Diploma in Practical Legal Training (NSW).
